Founded in 2019, they made an impressive debut with bottlings like Ben Nevis 1995, Caol Ila 1983, and another Ben Nevis from 1996, all of which scored around 90 points on platforms like Whiskybase. This success marked the beginning of a journey that focuses on top-quality whisky. The owner, Joeri, is passionate about whisky and seeks casks that he himself would buy. Despite challenges in sourcing older casks and the slow-paced whisky industry, The Whisky Jury maintains a commitment to price-quality balance.

The company mainly serves markets in Belgium, the Netherlands, Asia, and the UK and has no plans to expand rapidly, prioritizing quality over quantity. The bottler's label is inspired by the moment when one holds a glass of whisky up to the light, signifying a sacred experience. While whisky remains their primary focus, The Whisky Jury is open to occasionally bottling other spirits.
