Signatory Vintage

Signatory Vintage, established in 1988 by Andrew Symington, has gained recognition for its vigorous release policy, offering around 50 different single malt expressions at any given time. Among their successful ranges is the Cask Strength Collection, offering natural strength whiskies up to 35 years old. The Un-Chillfiltered Collection features whiskies that haven't undergone chill filtering, enhancing their natural flavor and body. The 86 Proof Collection focuses on whiskies up to 20 years old, bottled at 86 proof. The company also sells and trades casks with other independent bottlers.

Signatory's bottling, bonding, and office facilities are located near Pitlochry in Perthshire, adjacent to the Edradour distillery, which the company also owns. This picturesque location has become the heart of Signatory's operations. Initially, Signatory was based in Edinburgh, where they developed a bottling plant. However, in 2002, the company acquired Edradour distillery from Pernod Ricard, which prompted them to move all operations to their Perthshire location. They constructed a new bottling plant and warehousing complex, maintaining a traditional architectural style that complements the distillery's charm.

In 2018, Signatory celebrated its 30th anniversary with a series of single malts ranging from 33 to 45 years old. The company has also expanded its presence in the American market and released special editions exclusively in Germany.

Andrew Symington, the founder of Signatory, has dedicated over half of his life to Scotch whisky. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored with the title Master of the Quaich in 2012.
