Elixir Distillers

Elixir Distillers, formerly known as Speciality Drinks (changed in 2017), is a prominent independent bottler specializing in whisky, with a focus on Scotch as well as Japanese, Irish, and American whiskies. Founded in 1999 by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh, who also established The Whisky Exchange retail website, the company has become a leading specialist retailer of fine spirits and liqueurs with over 4,000 products.

The company boasts several core brands, including Elements of Islay, featuring Islay malt whiskies with unique lab-inspired packaging, Port Askaig, offering a range of Islay single malt expressions, and The Single Malts of Scotland, which provides independent bottlings of vintage single malt Scotch from various distilleries. Elixir Distillers also ventures into other spirits categories, producing Black Tot Rum and Highland Nectar Scotch Whisky Liqueur, among others.

The company's founders, Sukhinder and Rajbir Singh, have deep roots in the drinks industry. Their parents were the first Asians in the UK to be granted a liquor license in 1971, and they later opened an award-winning off-license. Sukhinder's passion for whisky led him to start collecting miniatures and eventually full-size bottles. In 1999, they founded The Whisky Exchange, a significant player in the global drinks retail market.
